CRIME AWARENESS CAMPAIGN HITS YEOVILLE The Gauteng Department of Community Safety in partnership with Yeoville South African Police Services will tomorrow, 24 July 2013, conduct a crime awareness roadshow in Yeoville. The purpose of the roadshow is to create awareness and educate the community on issues of safety. Officials from the department and members of the South African Police Services will interact with community members at the targeted hotspots such as Rocky and Raymond Street in which drug dealing and street robberies are most prevalent. The road show will also be extended to Emnyama Ndaba characterized by high incidents of prostitution as well as a hideout for criminals, and Rally Street where motor vehicle theft as well as smash and grab are a problem.
