CRIME UPDATE: 1. A man was threatened at knife point yesterday at around 4:30pm outside The Waggon & Horses on Rochdale Road. Whilst the victim was asleep in his car when a males approximately aged 20 approached the passenger side door and held a knife to the victim’s throat demanding money. The offender made off with the victims phone and approximately £4 in cash and was described as wearing a white mask over his face, with a black hooded top and blue jeans. 2. A burglary occurred on Delta Close, Royton last night between 11:00pm and 8:30am. The offender entered the house garage from an insecure window taking several items from within. The offender then made their way out stealing several more items from 2 unlocked vehicles parked on the drive way. Items stolen include a Sat Nav, Sony Camera and a Norco pedal cycle. 3. A white Ford Transit van was stolen on Oldham Road, Royton at around 8pm last night. The offender was able to steal the van due to the keys being left on the seat. The van was later found and stopped and the offender was arrested and the van returned to its owner.
