CROOKWELL SENIORS FORUM The seventh Hume Seniors Forum since the Budget in May was held in Crookwell on Monday with around 30 interested residents attending. Held at the Crookwell CWA rooms, the discussion ran for almost two hours and covered topics ranging from aged care and in-home support, meals on wheels, health and the Medicare co-payment. Of course Crookwell’s television reception issues, electricity prices, the Renewable Energy target and wind farms in the local area were also high on the agenda. Special thanks to staff from the Department of Human Services who have attended forum series throughout the electorate to provide expert advice to senior residents on an individual basis.
