***CROSS POST PLEASE SHARE NOT A BBR DOG*** Located in Montgomery, AL He is a stray He came up to our home on Aug 4th. he is a tan and white male, I am guessing approx. 6-8 months old he is nothing but skin and bones. I live in Montgomery County in the Pintlala .Snowdoun area between Hwy 31 and Hwy 331. I would guess hes about 20 lbs Hes very scared and will come to you but tail is between his legs and head down. he has a few wounds like I am not sure if this was a dog used as a ???bait dog or if he was thrown out and got scraped up or what. I am trying to gain his trust he has let me as of today pet him but then will back off. He has been around my old lab mix and they have gotten along but still too scared to actively play but I have noticed them laying side by side and my lab mix usually isnt that friendly so this has shocked me. he is a bit frightened of my doxie but they have also gotten along. My family isnt home enough to care for him like we feel he needs to be cared for and I really think he needs fostering I will and so will my husband do whatever we can but I know in my heart we shouldnt keep him though he is soo sweet. I will continue to care for this guy. I am planning to take him to my vet to see if he has been chipped but I do not believe he is. really need to find him a good home. My name is Sue.
