CRUCIFY THE LABELS, RESURRECT AS FREEDOM We name everything, including our own intimate experience. Sadness, we say. Anger. Fear. Frustration. Joy. Boredom. Longing. But emotions are only energies in motion, and beyond the conceptual labels, without the words, we really have no way of knowing what we are experiencing. Take away the label sadness, and what is it? Take away the description anger, and what is it? Remove the concept boredom and what is this raw life energy that pulsates in you? Become curious. Allow your present experience to become totally fascinating. Stop calling the energy positive or negative, light or dark, right or wrong, and what is there? Come back to the sensations in the body. Raw life. The throb of mystery. Tingly, alive sensations - prickly, dull, warm, intense, fluttery - dancing in the belly, chest, neck, head. Inseparable from what you are. Intimate. Sacred.
