CSC will be launching its brilliant Toolkit on Working with Street Girls at the AGM on 26th November. This toolkit has been developed in direct response to CSCs network members’ need for guidance of this type. Adolescent street girls (11-18 years old) face specific challenges including gender-based violence, discrimination and gender-specific health issues. However in order to offer safe, effective programmes for girls, organisations need to have the capacity (knowledge, time, skills and resources) in place, otherwise they may be putting girls at risk of harm and failing to meet girls’ needs.
