We will be met at the Johannesburg airport by our guide and and driver. We will stay at the Rivonia Guest-House for several days. Meal upon arrival is on our own. DAY 2: A leisure breakfast. In the afternoon, we travel to the multicultural Ledesi Cultural Village where we will enjoy the culture and customs of four of South Africas tribes. After the presentations and entertainment of these tribes, well enjoy a Pan African Feast at the Nyama Choma Restaurant with delicacies from different regions of South Africa. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner DAY 3: After breakfast, we take a Rise to Freedom tour to get a full understanding of South Africas turbulent past. Included are monuments of South Africa, Constitution Hill, the site of the Old Fort Prison Complex, which at the height of apartheid, 2000 prisoners were processed through its gates. Also a tour of the Hector Peterson Memorial in Soweto where 12-year old Hector was shot during its uprising, and their meeting place, the Regina Mundi Church. Mandelas house and viewings of family photos and other memorabilia. Freedom Square, and the largest hospital in the world, the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. This will be an emotional day. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner DAY 4: A safari to the Pilansberg Game Reserve. Look for Lions, African Elephants, Buffalo, Leopards, Rhinoceros and other large animals on the path. And then a flight to Capetown. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast DAY 5: A leisured followed by a ferry ride to Robben Island and then spend the evening along the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. It rotates 360-degrees, showing a panoramic view of the city. In the afternoon, well tour the Capetown Townships, meet and speak with local leaders, and then sample typical Xhosa cuisine cooked by locals. This evening enjoy an African Boma dinner with entertainment and dishes from various African Countries. In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
