We are currently seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer to join the team at Whitlam Leisure Centre, to drive our vision to provide each and every person with the opportunity to be happy, healthy and connected. Key Responsibilities The customer service officer is responsible for acknowledging and serving all customers that walk into the facility. This position operates primarily from the front desk, and requires a complete knowledge and understanding of reception / customer service. They are responsible for cash handling, telephone operation, program bookings and memberships. The Customer Service Officer will possess excellent customer service skills, organisational skills and enjoy working in a service-orientated role. Essential Previous experience in an administrative/customer service role Subject to a cleared Working with Children Check Subject to a Criminal History Check Multi-skilling and an ability to deal with a potentially busy and demanding environment Excellent interpersonal skills Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Relevant tertiary qualifications Desirable Telephone protocol At least 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role First Aid Life Guard Accreditation YMCA NSW is dedicated to offering rewarding careers with challenging work and many opportunities to learn and grow.
