BENSON GROUP Team Valley & Newburn Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Team Leader you will be a competent Cut & Crease Operator able to ensure you have all necessary resources (equipment & materials) and manpower (competent personnel) to safely and efficiently produce high quality printed, folded and glued cartons in accordance with the requirements of our customers and with full compliance to all applicable quality and health & safety standards at all times You will be involved in activities such as continuous improvement, error/accident prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in all areas in order to meet customer and business requirements You will be responsible for quality, cost, delivery, health & safety, hygiene, housekeeping, training, data input and adherence to company rules at all times You will perform any other duties as required About You To secure this position you:- •must have previously operated Bobst blanking autoplatens with a proven track record of good hands-on experience •must be able to demonstrate competence in terms of meeting operational and quality targets •must have experience of working within a team of operators and assistants •must be personally flexible at all times, cooperative, reliable, responsible and able to use your own initiative to make appropriate decisions •must have logical thought processes & excellent concentration skills, able to think things through and be able to react quickly, decisively and safely in any given situation •must be able to demonstrate an unblemished track record and attitude towards health & safety and quality, with a good eye for detail •must have a high standard of personal hygiene & demonstrate good housekeeping •must be flexible in terms of working hours & shifts, willing to work overtime as required by the business and to cover for sickness and/or holidays •must have a clean disciplinary record for conduct, timekeeping & attendance, to demonstrate the qualities expected of a responsible & reliable person in this position •will ideally be a non-smoker ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE FORWARDED DIRECTLY TO BENSON GROUP FOR ASSESSMENT.
