CUTE CALICO NEEDS YOU! “She is a pretty good cat. No behavior issues,” wrote two year old Nunu’s former owner when surrendering her to the shelter just a few short days ago. This poor, frightened kitty’s world was turned upside down when she got dumped due to her owners moving away. Nunu must have thought that she mattered to them. She must have thought those people would care for her always, but that turned out to be a painfully false assumption. Nunus former owners loved her as long as it was convenient to, but once they decided to move to a new place, they couldnt wait to cut ties with her Nunu was hurt beyond measure by their callous disregard, and it shows in her New Hope rating. Think this through for a moment---if Nunu were really a snarly kitty, would they have kept her for the past 2 years? Of course not. Nunu is acting out against the shelter system because her life is in tatters, but she must be a lovely cat once she feels safe and loved.
