CYB, under the auspices of the National Youth Council of Namibia (NYC), is an initiative that has been purposefully established to assist young entrepreneurs who lack access to credit due to lack of adequate bank required collateral. NYC recognizes the weakness of programs that provide credit as stand-alone support package and is thus committed to facilitate provision of other complementary SME support services. The CYB program aims to target youth aged between the ages of 18-35 who are currently involved in business activities. The program - has a focal emphasis to assist those enterprises that are residing in rural and semi-urban areas. - is covering the following regions: Caprivi, Hardap, Karas, Kavango, Ohangwena, Omaheke, Otjozondjupa and Oshana. Steps to Access CYB Loan: • Express interest for Funding with NYC/CYB. • NYC/CYB will contact you for the training. • Attend Business Management Training and Mentoring. • Develop Business Plan. • Submit Business Plan to Bank Windhoek. • Alert NYC/CYB on Business Plan submission to Bank Windhoek. • If application successful, honour loan and go for 2nd loan if financial assistance need arises.
