Cadences pre-op appointment went well. She was perfect! She got more X-rays and some bloodwork. She will be on an antibiotic and has a special soap to use before surgery as a precaution for infection. She will be at Riley for 24-48 hours following surgery. The procedure will take 1 hour. She will wear a cast for 3 weeks. Once the cast comes off she will be molded for her first prosthetic and they will begin physically therapy and stump formation wrapping. Then she is home free to blow our minds!!! Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes. We appreciate it.
