Cage defence. Ok here goes....deep breath.... No fighting.. Ive read a little on cage defence. Theres a few options. A... Just grab them underneath before they know whats going on...( got tagged several times) B. Put Ur hand in ( not directly infront) let them get used to your smell. Got tagged multiple times, only removed my hand because I dont want to hurt its teeth. A few more attempts over the following days and it only tagged me twice today. I dont flinch, so no harm will happen hopefully. C. The Tap method, using a hook to gently push its neck away every time u enter the enclosure. Whats your technique? Im not scared of being bitten, But I dont want it to grow into a monster over time and be too big to control and hurt too much. Lol. Its perfect out of the enclosure so its definitely just defending itself only in there. It will not strike if Ive got a long sleeve shirt on either. Its refused food, so its not hungry. I wash my hands with the same antiseptic every time so it knows my smell. Any tips for a newbie? Thanks in advance.
