Calais Celtic Concerts is extremely pleased to present the Scottish Hall of Fame Artists, The Tannahill Weavers, at the Washington County Community College, on Thursday Oct. 2, 2014, at 6:00 PM US/7:00 PM Canadian time. Considered by many to be one of the BEST Celtic bands in the World, this will be a GREAT SHOW, perhaps the best of the year! Known for their songs and ballads, they are one of the first groups to include the full Highland Bagpipes into their show. Their instrumentals are powerful and lively! Their new piper, performed the pipe music for the Disney Pixar movie BRAVE. The doors will open at 5:00 PM and audience members are welcome to come with their instruments for a jam session one hour before the show upstairs in the St. Croix Hall. THIS WILL BE A GREAT SHOW!!
