Calamity today in the Bertoldie home. I woke up to sweltering heat in our home. A quick investigation indicated a failure of our air conditioning system. I followed the normal trouble shooting protocol, but, in the end, I determined that a repairman would be required. The unit is under warranty, but the service call will undoubtedly be significant. Most troubling is my susceptibility to overheating. Presently, I have Ann fanning me with Palm fronds and dabbing at my face with a cold and dampened cloth. I have donned a bandana to be worn around my forehead and this has been helpful in stemming the geyser like flow of perspiration ushering forth from my sweat glands. Should I survive until the air conditioning is repaired, I will be grateful to all.
