Calera Alabama! FOUND STARVED! Offer for help with vetting! Purebred Female Rottweiler with docked tail! Doesnt appear to be very old. Described as a sweetheart! She was seen a couple of months ago stray, but disappeared. The guy who saw her stray came home from work Friday and she was on his porch. She knew she couldnt make it any longer on her own!! She is emaciated and her skin is starting to show that shes been malnourished. She has a healthy appetite and is eating and drinking water. Jim said, The dog is a sweetheart, she has not shown any aggression towards our cats or my neighbors chickens that hang out in our yard. HE CANNOT KEEP HER! His male pit bull has been growling at her and he doesnt want issues from his dog. She can go to an approved home, to a foster to adopt, or to a wonderful rescue. She will require full vetting by whoever takes her. This man is not in the position to vet her. She looks swollen like shes been in heat, IDK. Look how beautiful she is!! Rottweilers are herding dogs, also used for search and rescue, guide dogs, therapy dogs, guard dogs, and police dogs. They are versatile dogs.
