Intercultural tools – Creativity in youth work Linz, AUSTRIA 31st of October – 8th of November Youth in Action Programme – Action 4.3 Training Course INCA in collaboration with JumBo-Youth is organising this training course! Short description of the project: This project will equip participants from diverse European backgrounds to participate in an activity using Theatre Tools for Intercultural Dialogue and European Active Citizenship. The training course: The focus of the training course will be study the actual social situation in Europe and the main common problematic in different countries and if/how we can contribute to social change and cohesion and to foster a development of Europe through culture and arts. The participants will have a very good opportunity to share experiences, methods and good practices using diverse theatre methods, in which they can develop individual and group values, improve their skills, expand their knowledge about other cultures, and plan how to transfer these concepts in their future actions. Methodology : The training is based on practical work. The methodological approach of the training course will be based on Non-Formal Education. The working methods will be based on Physical Theatre. The participants will work on group dynamics, team building, simulations, practical workshops (Theatre), working groups (exploration of the topic), reflection groups, and evaluation of the process. Language of instruction: English Certificate: European Youth Pass Costs: 70% of the travel costs for selected participants are covered by the project, and they will be reimbursed during the project. Participants should cover on their own the remaining 30% of travel cost. Selected participants will have to pay a participation fee of 30 euro.
