Please consider that we have limited places and if you want to participate send application form to togetherplanassociation@gmail Deadline : 01.05.2014 Purposes of the project: The main purpose of the project is to call up the youth’s attention on spending their free time wisely by means of alternative cultural artistic forms (DJ, Hip-hop, Song, and Graffiti). It will also be important during the project to enhance the tolerance between the young people, to encourage them to get to know each other, mostly for enhancing the European Union’s social cohesion, for which the international environment is the most ideal. Priorities of the project: We kept in mind the enhancement of the young people’s personality during the international project, making them gain such experiences, which may be excellent skills in the future, promoting their easier integration and active social life. Everyone’s opinion will be important during the project as the project will be set up by the participants themselves, which contributes to the development of their opinion-creating, self-expressing and assertiveness skills. We pay much attention on the development of their organizational, communicational skills, which are necessary in creating projects in the future. This also contributes to the creation of relationships between them, which are essential for setting up international projects in the future. The project has participants from seven different countries. As so, the project emphasizes the importance of the cultural diversity and getting to know to each others cultures consistent with European Year of Intercultural Dialogue’s priorities. During the ten day project the young people will cooperate in workshops related to art, culture, musical and alternative self-expression and to the intercultural dialogues. Each group will be international and will have its own task. The groups will run at the same time, complementing the other workshops’ work. Towards the end of the ten days spent together they will finish their twenty-minute attention- attracting performance held in the „Zeyk-Domokos ” High School of the town of Cristuru Secuiesc under the title of, and you can make your ideas come true with the program ”. During the project the young people will have the opportunity to prove their own will, as the workshops are prepared, evaluated and led by them. Most of the participants will come from disadvantaged families and will be aged between sixteen and thirty. The points of connect during the project are the love of the art, music and dance. During the project the young people will have the opportunity to get in touch with the local community, as parts of the project’s workshops will be held in public, so the local young people can also interact and the participants are also free to get around town. The main point of connection with the local community would be the attention- attracting performances, and the party, closing the project, which will ensure the closest relationship with each other and with the local community.
