Call it a Pure Prairie pilgrimage! Norman Rockwell Museum received - TopicsExpress

Call it a Pure Prairie pilgrimage! Norman Rockwell Museum received a special visit last weekend from veteran country-rock act, Pure Prairie League, who were in the area to perform at Berkshire Theatre Groups Colonial Theatre. The band made a point of stopping by the Museum to view Norman Rockwells art, and see the artists 1927 Saturday Evening Post cover which inspired their debut album in 1972. The band was kind enough to conduct a video interview with us about how Rockwells Dreams of Long Ago character, Sad Luke became a trademark for the band, and was used for all their subsequent releases (created by different artists). We enjoyed meeting these down-to-earth gents, hearing them perform, and look forward to sharing the bands video interview with you soon!
