Call me the devil but used to when I passed a Cattle truck, pig truck or even trucks full of chickens that we all know where they were headed to.. A little piece of me use to get slightly heart broken.. But thanks to the culinary world not only do I know where they are headed to.. But the last couple times Ive caught myself explaining the processes they go through once they get there to fellow non culinary, weak stomached, animal loving, friends and passengers that are with me.. Bad habit, I know. And I get it, its sad. But those animals are raised for one reason, food. And if it makes you feel any better.. Its done in a humane way.. Every single step and procedure thE Animals is go through is approved through the FDA.
