Call-out: Pagers were activated this evening at 17:15 8/1/15 by IRCG (Irish Coast Guard) Crews responded immediately and were informed by MRCC (Marine Rescue Coordination Centre) of reports of a male seen entering the water from The Suir Bridge. Crew was on scene within minutes where a search took place. Also in attendance were Waterford City Fire Service, Rescue 117 Waterford City Ambulance Service & WMSR. Weather conditions all the time deteriorating Crews stayed on scene until they were stood down around 21:30 & returned to base, search to resume tomorrow morning.
