Calling all Skeptics!! (I was one too!!!) Check out Sarah Rankins Story. From a Personal Trainers point of view...... It took $32,593 and countless hours of my life for me to realize I didn’t want to work for someone else. I disappointed my grandfather for the first time when I told him I didn’t want to be a lawyer, I wanted to go to ART school–his head spun like the scene from the Exorcist. Twelve hours from my Bachelors degree I sat my grandfather down again to disappoint him once more. I no longer wanted to be an international business mogul, I wanted to be a personal trainer and help people changes their lives in a positive way–as the color drained from his face he shook his head and wished me good luck. I spent the next 2 years traveling the country, working for countless crooked gyms, spending 60-70 hours a week working for a salary that allowed me to live paycheck to paycheck–life was good–or so I thought. I met a guy. Yep, someone who was worth settling down for! I took a job at another gym in my hometown of Toledo, Ohio–I spent on average 65 hours a week training ladies on a daily basis, watching them struggle day in and day out to get rid of stretch marks, cellulite, loose skin… after all – they had worked their booty off with me, lost the weight, followed my program… but what was left of the skin was almost as bad as the weight they had shed. It was June of 2010 when I was approached with the “It Works! Ultimate Body Applicator”. Immediately I thought, there is no way– I paid ten grand to get certified as a personal trainer… to be told that this does NOT exist! To make a long story short, I finally tried this Ultimate Body Applicator–I was told it would help me tighten, tone and firm in as little as 45 minuets. Even less likely, I was told I might even lose inches from my waist… HA! I couldn’t wait to disprove this thing and take them down through a slew of social media attacks… after all, there was no way this worked! After trying this thing..I was in awe at what I had just witnessed. Was it possible? I did everything they told me to do. I marked three spots on my waist with a permanent marker, measured between all the lines, drank water… and when I remeasured I had lost a total of 4 1/4 inches from my waist? If you know me I am HORRIBLE at math… and fractions? I had to have gotten this wrong… I asked my boyfriend Josh to check my math, and to my surprise I was right. IT WORKED. This maxi-pad looking sticker with some naturally fresh smelling goo on it just made me even hotter than I previously was! I remember sitting down and looking at my phone–who do I call first? Margie–who had lost 52lbs. and struggled with excess skin? Mike–a 225lb body builder always looking to “cut” and “get ripped”, or Kathyrn–my best friend (who went on to tell me I was a nut job and there was just no way)… My mind raced as I thought of all the people in my life–and people I had yet to meet who could benefit from this skinny sticker. After looking at the compensation plan (mind you it just looked like colored charts and abbreviations to me.. I had never done “Network Marketing”) I decided that this wasn’t too good to be true–it was true, I had witnessed it–I was going to take the bull by the horns and show everyone in Toledo, Ohio that IT WORKS! I FOUND IT! I joined the company July 10th, 2010. That day my life changed forever. The plan I was taught was easy, it was simple, 4 steps that even a first grader could master. I knew that I would hit my goal of an extra $500 a month in no time. I started calling my friends, family and anyone I could think of who would want to ride the wave of success with me. To my dismay, all of my friends and family told me I was crazy–”that must be a pyramid scheme, you’re wasting your time”. You should have seen the look on my grandfather’s face when I told him I was going to start selling these “wraps”. I had done my due-diligence and found out that Network Marketing or MLM started around the same time as the franchise. The major difference was the start-up cost and my business model meant I didn’t have to have a building, a staff or a huge advertising budget. I also found out that people like Warren Buffet, Donald Trump and Sir Richard Branson chose Network Marketing as their investment choice. They must be doin’ something right! After striking out with my family and friends I decided the only person who was going to support me was me, and I had no choice but to make this work. I was tired of having to choose paying the cable bill or groceries. I was tired of struggling! I went out and hit the streets, telling anyone I met what I had found, “wrapping” anyone and everyone I could. I built a team pretty quickly of 5 people who like me, wanted to make around $500 a month. Needless to say, my first month I made double what my goal was–I decided to try to do it again the next month, within 6 months I had built a six-figure income! It works is now my full time fantasy. I spend my days helping people get healthier, look younger, live longer, gain self confidence & hit their goals! I’ve spent my time sharing It Works with anyone I can, learning to be a better person and learning how to guide others to do what I have done. I have helped countless people not only change their lives physically but also financially. I even have people on my team making MORE than me! You can ask the bartender and mother of 5 I wrapped behind a truck at a carnival! She went from bartender to soon to be bar OWNER with It Works! It’s amazing what belief in a product, belief in yourself and the support of your It Works family can do for you. If you have ever considered a path in which to change your physical or financial future–consider the path I’ve chosen. IT WORKED FOR ME, IT CAN WORK FOR YOU!
