Calling all Sunshine Coast residents. Sunshine Coast Environment Council has been working with the Sunshine Coast Council, business and resident organisations around the Halls Creek Issue. The Council has considered the possibility of development at Halls Creek for almost 15 years and has consistently rejected it for a range of planning and environmental reasons. However the State Government has repeatedly dismissed Councils position and appears determined to do so once again. Now is the time to show your opposition to development at Halls Creek by writing to your local member calling for the removal of the Halls Creek Area from the new SEQ Regional Plan.
