Calling all birthmothers! There are so many potential birthmothers who are preparing to place or birthmothers who have recently placed and need support. As we all know, this can be an emotional experience and having someone who has been through it can be such a help. It is nice to know that you are not alone. IAC does their best to match alumni birthmothers with girls and women who need support through the process of pregnancy and placement. However, we would like to create an organized system to better facilitate this process. If you feel like you would enjoy talking with others that may be going through a situation similar to what you endured, then please contact Ali Desmond at [email protected] - You can be their light at the end of the tunnel. Also, if you are already a birth mom buddy contact Ali as well so she can get you set up in the new system! Lastly, for the alumni adoptive parents, if you think your birthmother would be a great support for these girls and women Ali would gladly take her updated contact info or you can pass along the word and have her contact us!
