Calling all dog lovers of Calgary and surrounding areas! The users of the off-leash park in Silver Springs NW desperately need your help & support!! If you havent been to this park, you must go! It is located in the Birth Place Forest and it is a great place to let the pups run free and get their exercise ... and I am so hopeful that through all of our efforts we can work together to keep it that way. **A petition has been started in hopes we can make a stand and protect this area from further construction/expansion/motorized vehicle use. Please click on the link at the bottom of this post for details of what is happening. ***You do NOT have to live in this community to sign this petition!! In fact, this petition is addressed to the City of Calgary and hopefully can influence future decisions for ALL City of Calgary off-leash areas and keep them open, safe for all users and protected!
