Calling all photographers who would be willing to do something like this with me. My mother died 8 years ago from glioblastoma multiform stage 4. She was given 3-6 months to live and she fought it for 3 1/2 years. She was diagnosed only 7 days before my step dads insurance kicked in therefore she became pre-existing and was forced to take government/state insurance which only covered so much of her total costs she incurred fighting this horrible disease. She died from side effects of her experimental chemo therapy she received at the end. I would like to honor her and her desire to donate her body to brain cancer research by doing this for and with cancer patients. I would love to be a model myself and go bald in her honor. I have a 50% chance of developing her cancer myself as my mother was adopted. I have photos and can get documentation of my mothers illness to prove this if anyone needs it. :) I will donate my time and would like to photograph the models and the photographer myself for my own scrapbook and memories through this if that would be ok with the person who wanted to do this with me. I would be willing to pay half the shoot costs myself if thats what it takes and ask that at the end we donate half the proceeds from the shoot to the research of brain cancer. I hope this tugs at someones heart strings and that a photographer would want to do this with me. I will add a photo of my beautiful mom in the comments.
