Calling all those who study fire science or vegetation treatments! In June, The Great Basin Fire Science Delivery will be hosting free vegetation treatment field workshops in Idaho, Nevada, Utah, and Oregon. Range and fire ecology experts will lead discussions about tools to rapidly assess resilience to disturbance (ability of a treatment area to recover), resistance to invasive annuals, predict successional pathways, and determine the need and suitability for seeding on potential vegetation treatment areas and areas burned by wildfire.
