Calling it corruption would imply that the judges have something - TopicsExpress

Calling it corruption would imply that the judges have something to gain from their ill-fated decisions. I think it’s more of an open bias towards mothers taking place in the Fairfax County courts. We began this battle for custody when our youngest was only 3 weeks old. I have been to court more than 20 times in the last 2 ½ years. I have had judges call me mentally ill for truthfully testifying about my ex being mentally ill. I have been restricted to supervised visitation because a judge accused me of lying about my ex and his violent past. I have had subsequent judges receive testimonies, hospital records and eye-witness reports of his mental illness and violent past and still overlook it all. Going to the Court of Appeals is an expensive means to nowhere. The Courts frown on people that oppose their ruling. The Courts frown on parents that speak out about the injustices they’ve endured in family court. You’re losing either way. You say these people are powerful….I’ll agree…but their strength lies in your silence – I can promise you that. The more we accept these injustices, the more rampant they will become and you and I won’t be the only mothers suffering the heartache of living without our children. ~vic
