Calliophis bivirgatus(Blue Malaysian coral snake) the beautiful Asian Elapid that has one of the most fatal venom with a strange venom gland system. It can inject much amount of venoms while the head and the gland are small.This specimen has a unique system of venom glands. The venom glands of this species are exceptionally long and extend beyond the jaw for one-third the length of the body. with many thanks to Dr Bryan Fry for introducing this amazing species in an informative documentary -The deadliest snakes of the world. :-)
