Camalig, Albay - Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. with the Tourism Department of Camalig endowed themselves time to meet Barangay Quitinday officials last March 28, 2014, Another tourism destination in Albay specially in their town to unvail soon. Mayor Baldo explained how barangayan will help beautify the so called Quitinday Hills. Other matters were discussed during the meeting and other potential tourism attractions were also identified by the barangay council like the Quitinday-Jovellar Falls, other unknown caves and springs in the area. A 8km ATV ride from poblacion of Camalig lies a tourist attraction that needs to be protected and develop for the tourist to enjoy, pointing out the needs for this another destination in Albay Mayor Baldo reiterate on focusing on road network and community involvement for the future influx of tourist in this part of Camalig.
