Came across this video by accident, and was amazed at how long this incident lasted. This was back in 2011 when a knife-wielding nut job in Ireland attacked a police officer in Cork city, stole his car, drove to Cork airport, stole a fire vehicle at the airport, and drove around the tarmac as you can see, threatening to run over police and fire personnel for more than 10 minutes until he crashed and was finally disarmed. Hes driving around in circles for ages and no-one seemed to know what to do to stop him. I wont say That would never happen in the States, but if it had been in the States, as soon as he tried to run over police, his rampage would likely have ended very quickly and fatally, for him. He even had enough room to try to ram a parked plane here, until a flood of cars at the end closed him in after he crashed. It looks like Benny Hill music would have been appropriate...
