Came back home after shopping and found about 6 or 7 police cars a crossed the street from our house. Turns out there is a problem with the people living just down the street, wife and kids went inside and Stayed out side to see what the fuss was about. While I was standing there on my front porch I saw a man run out his front door and start in with the police. I found out later he had a 7 or 8 inch knife and was threatening the officers in his front yard, I hear a couple of tasers go off and see this man jump a couple time and run for the back of his property. He with an officer close by came out from behind his neighbors house and ran a crossed the street towards my neighbors house. I opened my front door and asked my wife and kids the go into one of the back bedrooms and stay there. At this point I think every police officer and sheriff in Lancaster County came to this area. One of the sheriffs opened his vehicles trunk and took out what looked like an assault rifle and I opened the front door again and told my wife and kids to get to the basement. The guy eluded the officers for about an hour; they used a K9 patrol unit and were searching the neighborhood but could not find him. Some of the officers were packing things up and getting ready to leave and I was standing at the end of my driveway when the guy they were looking for ran back a crossed the street to behind a different house, I yelled at one of the officers and told him what I saw and he got on his radio and told the other officers where I seen the guy run to and directed them to where the guy was. A couple minutes later the officer I gave the information to walked by gave me a thumbs up and said they got him.
