Came back recently from a dive trip to Miami and Key West. Overall the viz was pretty good (60 feet and up). I went back to dive with my friend, student, and now Dive Master Angie Williams. The first day we did a couple of drift dives off Palm Beach off the dive boat Narcosis, diving the Governors Riverwalk (four wrecks) , followed by a night dive at the famed Blue Heron Bridge. Day two were a couple of reef dives off Miami and Ft. Lauderdale with Charley, Ron, who were spearing lionfish and feeding them to nurse sharks, file fish, and any other creature that they could interest. The afternoon of the second day Angie and I drove down to Key West, where we dove the Vandenberg on Sunday off Lost Reefs boat. There we experienced the strongest currents Ive ever dove, but the wreck was pretty interesting, not to mention historic. All in all it was a great trip - Thanks to Angie Williams! Im in the process of writing an article based on the trip, which should be up on the scyllisdiving website soon. Also, Im posting a bunch of pics from the trip tonight, but most of them were taken by Angie!
