Came home to a flooded upstairs bathroom… our toilet overflowed while nobody was home today. It doesnt seem to be any septic issue, as the water is clear… But it filled our forced air heating vent with water, and now it is leaking into the garage below through both the ceiling and the heating duct itself. Cant get ahold of my landlord, and HVAC services wont come out without homeowner consent. I flipped the circuit breaker for the furnace, and mopped everything up as best I could, but water is still leaking into the garage steadily. Dont know what to do... freaking out here. :( Did I mention that I only got one hour of sleep last night? Fml.
