Came to Penang for a Takaful Conference G Hotel Gurney Drive - Spacious room and with lively lobby and friendly people... A good Hotel to stay. My Rating 9.5/10 DONT DO THE FOLLOWING 1. Take the red cab outside hotel - cut throat. Use blue cab which uses meter 2. Dont eat at the Malay section of the Gurney drive Hawker center which is about 10 mins walk from G Hotel along Gurney Drive. Ridiculously priced, extremely lousy food with super small portion It cost us RM60.90 for the following which was taken from different stalls 1x Koay teow basah (Rating 0/10) (3 Spoon of kuay teow) (RM4) 1x Mee Uday (Rating 0/10) (RM7) 1xIkan siakap bakar small size (Rating 0/10) (RM30) 1x Rojak Pasembor (Rating 5/10) (RM15) 1x oren jus and 2 air suam (Rating 6/10 for actually using orange!) (RM2.40) 1x Nasi Lemak (with banner that won competition in Penang) (Rating 4/10) (RM2.50) This is DAY LIGHT ROBBERY. HOW CAN THE AUTHORITIES ALLOW THIS. USE OUR CONSUMER RIGHTS. BOYCOTT THIS PLACE. SPREAD THE WORD. HOW MANY PEOPLE SAID THAT I AM NOT COMING BACK HERE!
