Cameron attacked over “Christian Britain” claim ----------------------------------------------------------- This is really a surprised news published in “Metro” on 22nd April 2014 as follows David Cameron (Prime Minister) of Britain has been accused of ‘fostering division’ through his insistence that Britain is still a ‘Christian country’ The Prime Minister was attacked by an alliance of 55 leading secularists in an open letter, warning his statements on faith could have ‘negative consequences for politics and society’Those who signed the letter including authors Philip Pullman and Sir Terry Pratchett, broadcasters Dan Snow and Nick Ross, and philosopher AC Grayling. ‘Apart from the narrow constitutional sense that we continue to have an established church, Britain is not a Christian country, they said in the letter published in the Daily Telegraph. ‘Repeated surveys, polls and studies show that most of us are not Christian in our beliefs or our religious identities. Christina Rees, member of the General Synod, the highest governing body of the Church of England, told the BBC she was glad Mr. Cameron had the ‘confidence’ to talk about his faith and was ‘absolutely right’ to call Britain a ‘Christian nation’ Downing Street said Mr. Cameron’s speech was set up to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible and that he was ‘incredibly proud that Britain is home to many different faith communities. Here I just want to draw the attention of the people that Great Britain was once ruled almost the whole world. It was not coincident but it was God’s will. Britain was chosen by the God to spread the Holy Scripture to the whole world. British people have sent the Bible to all countries and they publish the Bible in several different languages. Our Lord Jesus Christ never went outside the country of Israel but His living Word is now in each and every country on this earth!! King James Bible is the best translated Bible in the world today. Even the prophet William Branham was instructed to use King James Version English Bible by the angle. It was God who inspired King James to do hard work of translation of Holy Scripture. King James I has impact on English literature is considerable, not least because of his encouragement of and participation in the translation of the Bible into English (1611), the translation that many people still consider the best, and which bears his name, the King James Bible. Even British people build the churches wherever they go and rule. However, it is true that Great Britain was a Christian country and it’s a Christian country indeed. It is really surprise that today those intellectual people can not see and understand it and deny the marvellous work of Almighty God.
