Cameroon took a huge step towards qualification for the 2015 - TopicsExpress

Cameroon took a huge step towards qualification for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-0 victory over Sierra Leone on Wednesday. Cameroon now tops the group with 10 points, while Cote d’ Ivoire 3-4 slump at home to Congo DR meant that the Indomitable Lions is almost through. Leonard Kweuke opened the scoring for the Indomitable Lions after only four minutes and Stephane Mbia (pictured, top) added the second three minutes later. That proved enough for Cameroon to bounce back from being held to a 0-0 draw when the sides met last Saturday. Ghana took control of a tight Group E by beating Guinea 3-1. The Black Stars, under caretaker coach Maxwell Konadu, opened up a two-point lead at the summit but was forced to fight hard to do it.
