Campaign Update: Less than a week and a half left – and the fun continues Face to face meet and greets continue as well as a lot of door knocking and phone calling. Thank you to everyone who has walked with me and for me. I would like to thank all those people who have taken phone lists and have been making calls to voters also. This is a true grass roots endeavor. Please continue conversation with people and asking them for their vote. It has been quite a while since the last update, computer time is few and far in between: Thank you to the Ziegler’s in DeRuyter, Curley’s in Oneida and the Williams’ in Brookfield. House parties are one of my favorite venues for meeting new supporters. I spent the night of the 17th at the CSEA headquarters in East Syracuse with a group of people making calls. In a matter of 31/2 hours we were able to contact over 900 CSEA member (past and present). It amazes me what can be done with the help of a small group of people. Thank you to all the members who have helped out. A special thank you to all supporters who attended the wine summit in Stockbridge and to the Oot’s for hosting the event. The night was ideal for the gathering and the Oot’s house was the perfect venue. The League of Women Voters is working hard to get the word out about the upcoming election. The Cazenovia League had their meet the candidate night last Wednesday and the turnout was impressive. Not only did voters get to meet the candidates they also had a panel that addressed the Cazenovia Propositions on the ballot. Thank you LWV for the opportunity. If you have not bought your tickets yet, they will be available at the door. Tuesday 10/29: Meet and Greet, Smithfield town hall. Peterboro. 5:30-6:30 Tuesday 10/29: Oneida Dispatch and Oneida League of Women Voters will hold a meet the candidate night at the Kallet at 7pm. Thank you
