Camping was fun, except there was a weird situation going on. Kind of a long story but the first day my kids were interacting with another ladies kids, who seemed nice. I noticed she was with a guy who kept mean mugging me and looked pissed. Then that night at 4 AM I wake up and hear a man screaming at someone. I walk over to ease drop and it sounded like domestic violence of some kind, it was pretty intense. The next day, I run into that lady and ask if she heard the yelling at 4 AM. She indicated that she was the one getting yelled at. A little later my kids were playing in her camp ground and when I went over to get them there were 4 police officers there talking to her. She came over to my campsite a little later and I asked if everything was ok. She said that that guy she was with has a no contact order for something serious that he did and that she called the police on him and that they werw looking for him at the park. Well, minutes after she said that, that dude walks up (apparently looking really pissed until he saw two other ladies with us, who were there from the campsite right next to us) and whispers something in her ear and takes off looking all paranoid and tweeking. I decided to not engage much at all with that lady at that point. I didnt want involved at all. So, that night (last night) I was talking with those two camping neighbors at my fire place and we see the dude walk past us towards that ladies campsite. I was feeling unsettled about it all. Then about twenty minutes later that guy comes out of nowhere from behind us, walks up right next to me looking all paranoid and asks if I can shine the light on that trail we just saw him walk and also asks if I have seen that lady. I tell him no and he walks away. Now Im really unsettled lol. So then about another twenty minutes later he comes out of nowhere and sits at the fire with us, lookin really tweeked, unstable and paranoid. He asks me, Can you do me a favor and give me a ride to the I5 interpass? I said, I dont really feel comfortable doing that, my kids are asleep in the tent. You are welcome to stay here and roast marshmallows or something though. He said, Im freakin out there are police looking for me, blocking the entrance and I have no way out. I have a domestic violence charge and no contact order and court tomorrow, so I cant get in trouble. I think my only option is to swim across Millersylvania lake. Me and my friends tried keeping things light. Then he stands up next to me, hovering over me looking worried and desperate saying I gotta think. I dont know what to do. I also noticed he was standing between me and my axe. Again, I tried keeping it light and told him I just want to be neutral and am just trying to camp with my family. Then he walks away again. We went to bed after that but I was really really unsettled at that point. Freakin tweekers.
