Can I be in love at the wrong time? Sir, what if you are in love and you have an inner peace about it but the timing is not right, what do you do? My reply: If the timing is not right, then its like you are at a traffic light. You are going in the right direction (thats inner peace), you are in the right car (so you are in love with the right person), but the traffic light instead of green or red, says, YELLOW.... so you wait....how long do you wait.... you wait until the time is right. If you drive into that junction, though in the right car, though in the right direction, you will crash into other cars and make a ship wretch of your love and your partner. A lot of people dont see that the right thing at the wrong time can indeed make EVERYTHING wrong. An impatient woman who uses the feelings of love to break the principles of timing is like a city without fences, like a car without brakes, like a mobile phone without a battery. Learn to obey proper timing. King Saul in the Bible, lost his throne, because he ran out of patience to WAIT for the coming of Samuel. He allowed the pressure of the people and yielded to the pleasure of men. Personally, I lost the first lady God asked me to marry because I disobeyed the next instruction to wait until the next year to propose to her. I used the excuses of the fires of love, and my lack of control. I wondered what was the difference between today and six months time. I didnt realise that to every God ordained purpose, there is a time. Scriptures say, When the FULLNESS of time was come, God sent forth his son....to redeem them that were under the law, that they might receive the adoption of sons. God had to WAIT...He waited until men were under the Law...else, they wouldnt even have appreciated the fact that they needed to be redeemed. They wouldnt have known they needed the saviour. They wouldnt have appreciated the privilege to be called sons of God. They would not have appreciated the love of God. If the timing of love is wrong, love can become wrong. If the timing of love is wrong, love can become abused or misused. If the timing of love is wrong, there will be many accidents on the road of life. Please dont make King Sauls mistake. Dont make my own mistake. Dont allow the flames of love to sentence to jump into a relationship when it is clear that you are not ready financially, emotionally, spiritually, and when you know that it will take more than two years before you can get married. Where are you rushing to? Why do you think you will lose her? Cant God keep his own? My dear sister, if the traffic light says, Yellow....DONT CHANGE IT TO GREEN. God bless you. I know this is a season of connection for godly relationship, but I see God given us grace to understand and walk with his timings in Jesus name....
