Can I brag? Its been an emotional day - first a mother of a young lady died suddenly and I was able to reach out and speak with the young lady. Then, hearing about a suicide in a MA town where the school is bringing me in. Ok.... Breathe. Then I get this email: Hi! My name is ******. Although Im sure you may not get to this I directly wanted to tell you that you have impacted my life so deeply. You came to union Endicott high school, in Endicott New York a couple of years ago. I left the gymnasium in tears by the time you were done, and since then I have never been the same. I too battle depression, and often times find lifes facade too much.. matter of fact, I had intentions of meeting the end that very night. Since meeting you, and hearing you speak I have since battled, but fought to keep my head above water and will continue the fight because that day I realized that I do have a purpose. I have not seen sharp objects since two nights previous to seeing you, and I decided to receive help. So I would just like you to know that you saved my life and that I appreciate all that you do. Thank you, very much. :) WOW! This is what I do. I change lives and touch hearts. Im always amazed that I have this ability to reach into the hearts of people through my message on stage. Im smiling through the weekend. Thanks for letting me brag.
