Can You Help? Were appealing for information following two wheelie bins being stolen/ set alight in the Caerphlly and Newbridge areas overnight 9-10th July. Three bins were set alight on East View, Caerphilly (log 104 10/07/14), two bins were set alight on Bartlett Street, Caerphilly (logs 84 and 96 10/07/14), a bin was stolen from a property on Brynheulog Road, Newbridge (log 228 10/07/14) and another from a property on Brynderi Terrace, Newbridge (log 147 10/07/14). PC Stuart Lewis, Crime and Disorder Reduction Officer for the area issues the following advice: *Add your house number and post code to your bin using paint or marker * Keep your bin in your back garden or out of sight in a garage or shed * Try to secure your bin by using a chain or bike lock and attaching it in your garage or to your property Anyone with information relating to the incidents mentioned is asked to call 101 quoting the relevant log number.
