Can amputated legs grow back? This is one question I have often found myself asking. I have heard of so many miracles and have seen some both to me and through me but this one boggled my mind. I have never seen anyone perform such a miracle, no matter how anointed, so I started to really ask myself why? Even in your heart, I am sure you are finding it difficult to believe that such a miracle is possible. It is a creative miracle of the highest order! So I started to think about this a little bit more and decided that yes, amputated legs can miraculously grow back and a host of other unusual miracles like wombs, eyes, livers, etc being given to those who might have lost them in the course of life. What led me to this conclusion? Two things; namely precedence and the scripture below. Lets start with the scripture. “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he say will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11: 22,23 Anything is possible, right? If you say it and believe it, Jesus says ti will be done for you. The key is noticing that it is not you by your superhuman strength that does it. Once you focus on yourself and try to see how YOUR faith can do it, you will automatically fail because you do not have such power at all. Jesus says ours is to confess what we want to see and IT shall be done for us. By who? By God, through the operation of the Holy Spirit. Is is the faith of God working in our hearts that leads us to declare that the impossible with man can happen. God can do anything, right? Yes, He can grow amputated legs back and raise the dead. Do you know why you are finding it difficult to believe? Because you are putting yourself in the picture. You are the bottleneck. If God were to come down in all His glory and majesty, Himself, the creator of heaven and earth, the galaxies and the universe, as well as us humans, would he fail to make a leg grow? Of course He can. But why is it so difficult to believe then, that He can do it through a yielded vessel? Because you are putting yourself into the picture. You think that YOU are the miracle worker and it is your power. Once you understand that it is Gods power brooding and vibrating in the spirit realm, waiting for you to authorise it to move by speaking what you want to see, it will become easy to see how God can grow legs back. You are just a channel but God does the actual work all by Himself. Now, that is powerful revelation! Regarding precedence, I will use the example of the apostle of faith, Smith Wigglesworth. While staying at the home of a legless curator of the church of England, Smith told him to buy shoes. The man thought he was joking but upon realising that he was serious, he went first thing in the morning to the shops and bought the shoes. He decided to try them out in faith and as he started, his leg and foot started to grow. He did the same with his other leg and it grew out as well! The question i have now is why we dont see more of these unusual miracles? God still heals; He never changes. maybe it is time to start believing Him for such; I for one have already started confessing that I will see such miracles through my ministry!
