Can any of you believe the City of York, SC pays its Garbage Truck Drivers between $14 and $20 an hour, thats assuming they work all 52 weeks 40 hrs a week, and doesnt include the great benefits us taxpayers provide for them. Also 4 members of city council took a trip to Charleston, SC with a guest each on the taxpayers dime to attend a conference that is available to view for free on-line, and best of all our City Manager who doesnt live in the city is paid over $100,000 a year, and has basically increased the pay for that position 29% since 2006.
