Can anyone please recommend a good mechanic?? Somebody recommended Henrys garage. Well, I brought my car there because my ac went out. He charged $400 because I brought cash (otherwise $450) At that time, he told me that if anything went wrong within the next 90 days to just bring it back in and hell fix it free of charge, and that he would provide a 12 month warranty on the part and give me 2 hours of labor free of charge if it went out within a year. So a month and a half later, Im driving down the road and smell this nasty burning smell and my ac went out completely again. First of all, it took me about a week to even get in contact with this guy, but then he didnt honor anything that he said. Furthermore, he called the other day to inform me that it would be almost another $1,400 to fix my ac. Not to mention, the cost of the rental car the first time and the rental car Ive been driving for over a week now (and who knows how much longer.) I brought my car in and paid him the first time to fix the ac.... Whatever the problem was, not stick a $400 bandaid on it and cost me even more money in the end!! Any suggestions???
