Can someone foster this pretty girl? There is a sweet Pittie, Indica who is pound bound, and we are trying to intervene. But we have no foster home, and dogs like her typically do not well in caged boarding. So, unless someone can foster her, we cannot take her. Her owner is a young woman whose heart was originally in the right place but not actions are; she has dumped a number of dogs at her parents house and abandoned them. The daughter dumped Indica on her parents and they cannot continue to take care of her, even though shes a very good dog. Shes good with kids and gets along with other dogs, but she she may not be a cagefree boarding material (cagefree can be a stressful environment, and not for every dog even if the dog is dog-friendly). The parents feel their only option at this point is to bring Indica to the pound, but they really dont want to do that, as they fear it is a death sentence for her. This is not the first time their daughter literally just left a dog with them without notice, and they are at the end of the rope. Please let us know if you know anyone that can foster her while we seek a permanent home for her.
