Can someone tell me when it became okay for 13 and 14 year old children to act the way they think a college kid acts? Turn up, girls, boys, relationships, starbucks, im so pretty, im so ugly, drama, drama. Because in reality, being a smart 21 means realizing how you wish you wouldve done better in highschool and actually did what you were there for which is learning, not talking shit with people you dont even like. And that netflix is a better alternative to getting addicted to something else that seems fun at first but in reality limits you more than you realize. And your FAMIILY is who you need to be worried about impressing and being faithful to not some punk you met last week. Being a grown up is about bills, making a life for yourself, being someone others can learn from. Our generation maintained some kind of innocence that raised some decent kids thanks to parents like Karyn Waldrep Day. All i see in these kids are a bunch of keshas and miley cyruss. Moral of my rant is... can we all agree to stop letting this be okay? Can we start telling these kids that look up to us this isnt what life is about? Except the starbucks.. starbucks is delicious.
