Can someone tell me why anyone would dislike ACA/Obamacare? Here is what I like: 1. It holds people responsible for Healthcare for them and their children. No more Free Rides in the emergency room. 2. Insurance companies cannot deny coverage for preexisting conditions. 3. Parents can cover children longer. 4. If the state allows, Georgia doesnt, low income folks can get financial assistance. This requires them to pay some of the cost versus the way it is now they go to the emergency room for free, overwhelming our emergency rooms. 5. It provides an online marketplace, unless blocked by the state like in Georgia, where you can easily shop for the best plan for you and your family. 6. Even low to middle income people and families can get a tax break to help them pay for medical care, again versus getting totally free care in the emergency room. 7 It mandates how much profit an insurance company can make off your premium. The only negatives I see: 1. It does cost some tax dollars. So does war. Cut war costs or other areas for this program. 2. It needed to be tougher on insurance companies in some areas. Ok, I am open for discussion...whats your say? Anyone?
