Can this be a thing? Can we make this a Twitter campaing? #DecolonizeChristianity, because really the idea that having material things means being blessed is relatively new and extremely capitalist. Jesus was not a capitalist, Jesus did not slut shame, And Jesus did not queer bash. We need to actively analyze the ways white supremacy and the kyriarchy in general have co opted Christs teachings seeing as this is the number one religion worldwide and the one that was used to justify the maafa, the atrocities against our native family, and colonialism in general. Like. Am I still sleep? Because Im fairly sure I cant be the only one angry about this.
