Can we, and Ed Miliband learn anything from the past? There is a need for investigative reporting. Democracy needs protecting Harold Wilson [former Prime Minster]. In the late 60s a Coup plot to remove the then Labour Prime Minster was hatched but never enacted. But by the mid seventies the plot thickened as spurious rumours about Wilson abounded. Today a plot is afoot to prevent Labour winning next year. Character assassinations, rubbishing and biased, inaccurate, stories are planted. A very British Coup is being put in place, but before Labour can take power. Power without responsibility in this new media 24/7 age. With two media spin doctors jointly running the country, David Cameron and Nick Clegg. Our over worked and stretched media cannot protect democracy. Even more so today than 40 years ago. We, useing all aspects of new media have to try and be the checks and balances. I, along with you, can only make a contribution. But collectively we can make the difference? youtube/watch?v=y6v1VxB5Lss
